Victorian Team performs well at Australian Surf Festival

NORTH HAVEN, Port Macquarie: (Thursday 16th August 2012): Victorian Team Members Greg Brown (Jan Juc), Sam Seundermann (Anglesea) and Kane Tankard (Dromana) have all placed third in their divisions at the Australian Surf Festival, supported by Essential Energy.

Sam Seundermann had this to say after the Open Womens Final, “It feels great to have placed third, I’m so happy to have had great fun waves here in Port Macquarie. I hope to be back here next year and would love to go a few places better!”

The Australian Surf Festival event website is now LIVE at www.australiansurffestival.com and during the event will feature live scores, heat by heat results, photo gallery and event news.

This year’s event will also feature a busy schedule off the water with live music and surf education courses. Town Green Inn will become the headquarters for all the land-based action providing competitors and spectators an opportunity to relax when competition is over for the day. A series of coaching courses will be available for surfing, SUP and judging.
