Harry Mann – Uluwatu Wounds

Hey everyone.

After a bad result in the South Australian Pro Junior, I decided to make a spontaneous decision to go to Bali.

I came over straight into really fun waves and was having a ball with a few friends from home. Yesterday we were surfing down at Uluwatu (racetracks) on the lower tide; everyone was getting some really fun barrels. The tide started to run out really fast, the waves were firing, but it was super shallow, if you fell off you were almost guaranteed to hit the reef! I took off on a middle size wave and didn’t make it and ended up hitting the reef pretty bad resulting in a very cut up back.

All is well though, I just got the worst bits patched up. I am gonna keep in clean and hopefully get some more pumping waves!
