Christian College Geelong Win The VicRoads Victorian School Surfing Teams Titles presented by Metricon and Play It Safe By The Water in better than anticipated conditions at Smiths Beach, Phillip Island.

The Christian College team, led by “power surfer” Cody Robinson, overcame a strong start from local favourites Wonthaggi Secondary College.

Wonthaggi were the form school in the opening rounds of the event, dominating their round 1 heat, but were unable to over come the sheer depth of the Christian College team.

Wonthaggi were the highest placed Public School, meaning they take home the School Sport Victoria title.

Finishing in third position was Surf Coast Secondary College, with Lorne P-12 in fourth position.
