Battle of the Codes

Nic Muscroft and myself were asked to play in the Battle of the Codes at the home courts of The Australian Open in Melbourne. It was an experience we couldn’t pass up and we jumped at the opportunity. We stopped past Rebel Sport on the drive up to get matching head bands to look the part.

We had a tough draw playing the Carlton Footballers and the Western Bulldogs boys. We managed to sneak past them with Mushys amazing work at the net. We then took down the Girls Basket ballers and were into the Semi Finals against Brendon Fevola and a top 200 in the World Female tennis player. Content on making the semi finals, Fev and his partner went on and absolutely smoked us, as we struggled to win a point.

We met some great people on the day and looks like we will be taking some of the Australian Davis Cup team surfing at the end of January when they are playing in Geelong.
